Privacy Statement — Lifestyle Care AI Lab

The Lifestyle Care AI Lab publishes the Building a Human Future newsletter and runs the national Lifestyle Care Professional (LCP) workforce. This statement explains what personal information we collect through the newsletter, paid subscriptions, and the LCP reservation form, and what we do with it. Information we collect

We collect only what you give us or what our subscription and payment providers pass to us.

Source and What we receive:

Newsletter signup (Substack)

Email address, plan (free, paid monthly, paid annual, or Founding), signup date, and whether your subscription is active

Paid subscription (Stripe, through Substack)

Email address, name if you provided one, Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan, subscription status (active, past due, canceled), and the dates of those changes

LCP reservation form (Microsoft Forms)

Email address, first and last name, ZIP code, whether you work in health, wellness, coaching, or care, and your consent to be contacted

Our own records

Which channel you came from (for example, Substack or a referral) and follow-up notes we create to manage your reservation or request

We do not receive or store your payment card details. Stripe processes payments directly. We also do not ask for health information through any of these channels.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Deliver the newsletter and manage your subscription and its status.

• Reserve and confirm LCP positions by ZIP code for Founding members, and contact you about the LCP program.

• Respond to researcher and investor inquiries about the Lifestyle Care Sector.

• Understand, in aggregate, where our readers come from and which channels work.

What we don’t do: we do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Service providers and where your data is stored

We rely on these providers, each under its own privacy and security terms:

Hosts the newsletter and manages signups and email delivery

Stripe

Processes paid subscriptions and payments

Microsoft (Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, Outlook)

Stores our subscriber and contact records, hosts the LCP reservation form, runs the automations that update records, and sends our internal notifications

Our contact records are stored in Microsoft’s data centers. They are processed by automations that run in Microsoft’s United States data centers.

We share information with these providers only so they can perform these services for us, or when the law requires it.

Retention, security, and your choices

Retention. We keep your records while your subscription is active. After you cancel or unsubscribe, we keep them for up to 24 months, then review them for deletion. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Security. Access to our records is limited to authorized staff and protected by multi-factor authentication. Our providers encrypt data in transit and at rest.

Your choices.

• Unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every newsletter email. We record the change in our CRM and stop program emails too.

• Cancel a paid subscription through your Substack account settings.

• Update or remove your LCP reservation by writing to privacy@lifestylecareailab.com.

Your rights and how to contact us

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.

• Correct information that is wrong.

• Delete your information, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation, such as payment records.

California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended. They also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, email privacy@lifestylecareailab.com from the address you subscribed with, so we can verify it’s you. We respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask the agent for proof of your permission.

Children, changes, and effective date

Children. Our newsletter and the LCP program are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes. If we change this statement, we will update the date below. If a change is significant, we will also tell subscribers by email.
